This challenging hike will take you to the stunning Punta Torrullas in the picturesque area. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 7.131 kilometers and an elevation gain of 644 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Estación de Esquí Astún, a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle here before embarking on your adventure. Along the way, you will also encounter the Ibón de Escalar, a beautiful water feature, approximately 2.31 kilometers from the start of the trail. Take a moment to admire the serene surroundings before continuing your hike.
Further along the trail, at a distance of 3.28 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Pico Escalar (Belonseiche), a prominent peak offering breathtaking panoramic views of the area. Be sure to capture some photos of the stunning landscapes before proceeding. As you make your way back, you can take a short break at the cafe located 0.53 kilometers from the start, where you can refuel and recharge for the journey ahead.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by various natural features such as the Col d'Audas and the Punta Torrullas peak itself, which is located 3.57 kilometers from the start of the trail. Be prepared for a challenging ascent to reach the summit, where you will be rewarded with awe-inspiring vistas of the surrounding terrain.
