This hiking route takes you to the stunning Pico Escalar (Belonseiche) in a beautiful natural area. The trail is 6.55 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 604 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours to complete.
Starting at the Estación de Esquí Astún, you will begin your journey along the trail. Along the way, you will pass by Ibón de Escalar, a picturesque water feature located 2.31 kilometers from the start. As you continue onwards, you will come across a spring and various peaks such as Nayeta and Naiso, providing breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Col d'Audas, a saddle point offering a rest spot to soak in the natural beauty of the area. For a quick break, there is a cafe located 0.53 kilometers from the start where you can refuel before continuing your trek towards the summit of Pico Escalar (Belonseiche).
