This hiking route takes you through a rugged and challenging terrain, offering breathtaking views and a test of your endurance.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by a couple of parking areas before reaching Rifugio Carbonetto, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel. As you continue on, you will come across La Meiro, a food court where you can grab a bite to eat.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach Colle Viribianc, a scenic saddle point with informative signage. Be sure to stop by the drinking water stations along the way to stay hydrated.
Towards the end of the trail, you'll encounter the impressive viewpoint known as Sedia Gigante. This is the perfect spot to take in the panoramic views and rest before heading back.
This 18.687 km route with an elevation gain of 1024 meters is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous trek.
