This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Rocca Corna Est peak in the beautiful area. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 10.814 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1062 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 5 hours and 9 minutes to complete.
As you begin your journey, you will find convenient parking just 0.1 kilometers from the trailhead. Along the way, you will encounter useful amenities such as drinking water spots at 2.04 kilometers into the hike and at the 2.8 kilometer mark. If you need a quick break, there is a charming bar called Caffè ed Elogi located just 0.09 kilometers from the start.
As you continue on the trail, you will pass by Colletto Canosio at 2.8 kilometers and Colle San Giovanni at 2.29 kilometers, both lovely saddles offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The highlight of the hike is reaching the Rocca Corna Est peak at 5.41 kilometers, where you can enjoy panoramic views from the summit.
Along the way, you will also come across various drinking water stations, a wayside shrine at 1.29 kilometers, and an information point at 0.35 kilometers where you can learn more about the area.
