The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 16.936 kilometers and an elevation gain of 869.0 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers. It is recommended to be well-prepared with proper gear, plenty of water, and snacks.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area (no fee) at the beginning of the trail. Approximately 0.01 kilometers from the start, there is a bench where you can take a short break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 1.9 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a refreshing spring, perfect for refilling your water bottles.

One of the highlights of this hike is the Καταρράκτης Αράπη waterfall, located at 8.47 kilometers from the start. This majestic waterfall offers a picturesque setting for a rest stop or photo opportunity. Additionally, you will find the Ουρλιάς waterfall nearby at 0.11 kilometers from the start, followed by another Ουρλιάς waterfall at 0.17 kilometers from the start.

If you wish to admire the view from a viewpoint, make sure to visit Καταρράκτης Αράπη, situated at 1.87 kilometers from the start of the trail. This vantage point offers a panoramic perspective of the surrounding landscape.
