This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Mt. Olympus National Park, known for its majestic peaks and breathtaking landscapes. The trail is 12.071 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1282 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area nearby where you can leave your vehicle. Around 0.04 kilometers from the start, you will find the Prionia 1100 restaurant, offering a perfect spot to grab a bite before your adventure. Further along the trail at around 0.06 kilometers, there is a water source where you can refill your bottle.
Midway through the hike, at 6.04 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Σημαιοφόρος peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area. As you continue on, you will pass by the Λιβαδάκι alpine hut around 5.35 kilometers from the start, providing a cozy resting place.
On the way back, you will find several amenities such as drinking water stations, benches for relaxation, and informative signboards about the national park. Additionally, there is a viewpoint for waterfalls at around 0.06 kilometers from the start, offering a picturesque spot to admire the natural beauty.
