This hiking route takes you through a challenging but rewarding journey in the beautiful area surrounding Ορειβατικό Καταφύγιο Ανάγκης Χριστάκη (Alpine Hut of Anagki Christakis). With a total distance of 15.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1556 meters, this route is classified as extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.

Starting at the parking area located right at the beginning of the trail, you will soon come across a refreshing spring at around 0.73 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail at about 0.62 kilometers in, you will find the Βρυσοπούλες alpine hut, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.

As you continue on, at 2.76 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Ορειβατικό Καταφύγιο Ανάγκης "Κώστας Μιγκοτζίδης" alpine hut, offering a place to rest and refuel before continuing your journey. Midway through the hike, at 4.15 kilometers in, you will encounter the peak of Άγιος Αντώνιος, providing stunning panoramic views of the area.

Reaching the turnaround point of the hike, you will arrive at Ορειβατικό Καταφύγιο Ανάγκης Χριστάκη (Alpine Hut of Anagki Christakis) at 7.75 kilometers. This alpine hut serves as a perfect spot to rest before heading back on the return journey.
