This hiking route on the E4 trail is located in a rugged and mountainous area. The trail covers a distance of 15.476 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1556 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

As you start your hike, you will come across the first point of interest, the alpine hut called "Ορειβατικό Καταφύγιο Ανάγκης Χριστάκη", located 7.74 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a good spot to take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Further along the trail at 2.76 kilometers from the start, you will find another alpine hut called "Ορειβατικό Καταφύγιο Ανάγκης 'Κώστας Μιγκοτζίδης'". This provides another opportunity to rest and refuel before continuing on your journey.

Around 0.73 kilometers into the hike, there is a spring (Βρυσοπούλες) where you can replenish your water supply. It is important to stay hydrated throughout the hike, so make sure to bring an adequate amount of water.

The trail also passes by the peak of Άγιος Αντώνιος at a distance of 4.15 kilometers from the trailhead. This landmark offers stunning panoramic views and is a great photo opportunity.
