This extremely difficult 13.822-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Rifugio Santa Margherita, starting from Piazza Paschero.
The trail begins at Piazza Paschero, where you can find parking facilities for your convenience. As you make your way along the challenging path, you will encounter the Bar del Paschero da Viviana, a perfect spot to grab a quick bite to eat. Approximately 2.48 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a drinking water station, ideal for refilling your water bottle.
Further along the route, at about 3.83 kilometers from the start, another drinking water station can be found. Along the trail, you will also pass by several historic wayside shrines, offering a glimpse into the local heritage and culture. At the 6.91-kilometer mark, you will reach another drinking water station before reaching the Rifugio Santa Margherita at 6.91 kilometers from the start.
There are additional points of interest along the trail, including a natural spring approximately 2.89 kilometers from the start, and an information point at 2.42 kilometers from the start.
