This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 13.822-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 729 meters in the beautiful area surrounding Rifugio Santa Margherita.
Starting at Piazza Paschero, you will embark on this challenging out-and-back trail that will lead you to various points of interest along the way. Make sure to visit the Bar del Paschero da Viviana at the beginning of your hike for some sustenance before heading out.
As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several drinking water spots, providing you with ample opportunities to stay hydrated throughout your journey. You will also encounter historic wayside shrines, such as the ones at 0.21 kilometers and 2.73 kilometers from the start, adding a cultural element to your hike.
Midway through your hike, at around 3.21 kilometers from the start, you will find a cave entrance at a short distance from the trail. This can be a fascinating spot to explore and take a break before continuing on your adventure.
