Located in the picturesque area of Senda del Collado de Estiviellas - Canfranc, this hiking route offers a challenging but rewarding experience for outdoor enthusiasts. With a total distance of 12.337 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1001 meters, this trail is categorized as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous journey.
As you embark on this out-and-back route, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area where you can safely leave your vehicle before starting your adventure. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as checking the weather forecast before heading out.
Midway through the hike, you will come across the stunning Borreguil de la Cuca peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you will reach the Ibon de Tortiellas, a beautiful water feature perfect for a rest stop and some peaceful contemplation.
