This challenging hiking route takes you through the stunning mountainous area surrounding La Table. The trail extends for 8.371 kilometers and involves an elevation gain of 494 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding trek.
As you begin your journey, you'll come across Candanchú, a parking area located right at the start of the trail. From there, the path leads you towards Collado de Causiat, a beautiful saddle that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. About midway through your hike, you'll encounter Cruz 296, a historic boundary stone that marks a significant point along the route.
As you continue on, be sure to stop at La Table, a scenic viewpoint located 4.19 kilometers from the start. Here, you can rest and enjoy the panoramic views before heading back. On your return journey, you'll pass by Source des Contrebandiers, a natural spring that provides a refreshing spot to refill your water bottle.
