This hiking route takes you on a 9.256-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 744 meters, lasting around 4 hours. The route is considered difficult due to its length and elevation.
Starting at Senda de Pico de Acué, you'll find yourself immersed in a beautiful natural setting surrounded by stunning landscapes.
Along the way, you'll encounter various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll come across a parking area. Further along, at a distance of 1.8 kilometers, you'll reach Col de la Mousquère, a natural saddle that offers breathtaking views. Continuing on, at midway through the hike, you'll find Cabane de la Caillabère, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy some rest.
As you venture forth, you'll pass by several water sources, such as Cascade d'Espélunguère and other unnamed points. These are great spots to refill your water supply, but make sure to bring enough with you as well.
Throughout the trail, you'll also encounter informative points, such as PNPO and various boundary stones like Borne 279. These points provide insights into the area's history and natural significance.
