This hiking route takes you on a 12.4-kilometer circular journey through the beautiful area of Chemin de Cap de Guerren à Sesques. With an elevation gain of 690 meters, this trail is classified as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a challenging hike.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your adventure that will lead you through various points of interest along the way. About 2.6 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a tranquil stream called Ruisseau de l'Esterous, providing a peaceful spot to rest and take in the surroundings. As you continue on, at around 4.9 kilometers in, you will find the Fontaine de Passette, a refreshing spring where you can refill your water supply.
Around the 5.9-kilometer mark, you'll reach the Cabane de Licoué shelter, offering a place to have a snack and rest before continuing your journey. Further ahead, at 4.7 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the picturesque peak known as Mailh de l'Ousquère, providing stunning panoramic views of the area.
As you make your way back towards the starting point, you'll pass by the ruins of Cabane de Casebétril at approximately 5.1 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of history to your hike. Finally, at around 0.75 kilometers from the beginning, you'll reach the Pène de La Mounédère peak, offering a last panoramic view before completing your circular route.
