This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 10.126 kilometers and an elevation gain of 649 meters, making it a difficult hike that is perfect for experienced hikers.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before beginning the journey. At 0.7 kilometers from the start, you will find an information point providing interesting insights about the area.
Continuing on, at 1.7 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Cabane EDF d'Etaëns, a shelter that offers a resting spot for hikers. Further along the trail, at 3.59 kilometers, you will encounter a cairn, a man-made stack of stones that serves as a landmark for travelers.
At the midway point of the hike, approximately 4.73 kilometers from the start, you will come across Laquet, a beautiful water feature where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Additionally, at 2.52 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Pas de l'Echelle, a natural saddle along the trail.
