Welcome to the hiking route in 12A - Gsies - Valle di Casies.

This challenging out-and-back trail covers a distance of 8.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 795 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers. The route will take approximately 4 hours to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. For the first part of the hike, you will pass by a spring, providing a refreshing stop along the way.

About midway through the hike, you will find Uwald Alm, a cozy restaurant offering a chance to refuel with some delicious local cuisine. Continuing on, you will reach Talschlusshütte, another restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning surroundings.

As you near the end of the trail, you will come across Spielbühel, a peak with breathtaking views of the valley. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the scenery before starting your journey back.

Throughout the hike, you will also encounter benches where you can rest and information points providing insights into the area's history and natural features.
