This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Blumenweg Oberseite in Sankt Jakob in Defereggen. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 4.966 kilometers with an elevation gain of 552 meters, making it a difficult hike that requires a good level of fitness.
As you start your hike, you will come across the St.-Josef-Kapelle wayside shrine, located just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the route, at 0.03 kilometers, you will find the Jausenstation Jägerstube restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments.
