This hiking route in the Innerriedl area offers a challenging journey with a total distance of 13.966 kilometers and an elevation gain of 914 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.

As you start the circular route, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. About 4.37 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Faltner Alm restaurant, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a meal while taking in the beautiful surroundings.

Continuing onwards, at around 0.02 kilometers from the start, you will find another restaurant called Karbach, offering another opportunity to refuel before reaching the peak of Innerriedl at 6.76 kilometers into the hike. The peak provides a stunning panoramic view of the area, making it a great spot to rest and appreciate the beauty of nature.

For those driving to the area, another parking area can be found at the end of the journey, where you can safely retrieve your vehicle after completing this challenging hike.
