This difficult 10.994-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the beautiful destination of Le Dec de Lhurs. The trail starts at Aire de Stationnement de Lamary and winds through the picturesque Bearn region.

Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Cabane de Lamary, a wilderness hut where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings. Further along, at a distance of 2.7 kilometers from the start, you will come across Cabane de Pédain, another wilderness hut offering accommodation options.

As you continue on the trail, you will reach Abri du Pla d'Escoueste, a shelter facility located 1.61 kilometers from the start. Midway through your hike, you will spot a peak called Le Dec de Lhurs, standing tall at 5.5 kilometers from the start.

Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for this challenging hike, as the total elevation gain is 974 meters. Additionally, check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable trek.
