Continuing on, at 1.61 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Abri du Pla d'Escoueste, a shelter providing a place to seek refuge if needed. Further along the trail, 2.7 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Cabane de Pédain, another wilderness hut for hikers to utilize.

Midway through the hike, at 5.5 kilometers from the start, you will reach Le Dec de Lhurs, a peak that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the area. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery before heading back the way you came.
