This hike takes you through the beautiful area of Carretera de Chía, offering stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 10.012 kilometers and an elevation gain of 337 meters, making it a difficult hike that is recommended for experienced hikers.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the start of the trail. Further along the path, about 3.74 kilometers from the beginning, you will find Chongastán, a wheelchair-accessible restaurant where you can take a break and refuel. At around 4.89 kilometers into the hike, there are two viewpoints that offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
On the way back, you will pass by Bar de Chía, a food court located 3.6 kilometers from the starting point, and La Serreta, a cafe situated at the same distance. Additionally, you will encounter El Mesón, a pub located right at the beginning of the trail, where you can relax and unwind after completing the hike.
