Located in the Serra Viella region, this hiking route offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for outdoor enthusiasts. The 6.078-kilometer trail begins at a convenient parking area, making it easily accessible for hikers.

As you embark on this journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find the Refugio de Marradetas wilderness hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Further along, you will encounter the stunning peak of Cabo Pientes, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the peaks of Cerro Marradetas and Puntal de Chía, each offering unique vantage points and opportunities to take in the beauty of the natural surroundings. Along the way, you may also come across the tranquil Fuen Fría spring, providing a refreshing stop for tired hikers.

With an elevation gain of 522 meters, this route is classified as difficult and is best suited for experienced hikers. It is important to bring an ample water supply and to check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure.

After a challenging ascent, you will retrace your steps back to the starting point, taking with you memories of the breathtaking views and rugged terrain of the Serra Viella region.
