This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of A-2609 Pista Forestal Plan-Chía. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 20.349 kilometers and an elevation gain of 975.0 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Ermita de San Mames, a historic building located 2.52 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take in some local history and enjoy the picturesque surroundings.
Further along the trail, at the 10.17 kilometer mark, you'll find Fuen Fría, a natural spring that offers a refreshing break for hikers. Just a bit before that, at 10.03 kilometers, another natural spring, providing options for water replenishment.
