This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, starting at the parking area near Peña de las Diez. The total distance of the hike is approximately 8.8 kilometers with an elevation gain of 661 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 3 hours and 41 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Refuge de Lavasar, a wilderness hut located right by the trail, offering a nice spot to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. Continuing on, you will pass by Colladeta del Ibón, a saddle that is about 3.79 kilometers from the start, providing a great viewpoint along the way.
Further along the trail, at around 4.42 kilometers from the start, you will reach Peña de las Diez, a peak known for its impressive views. This is a great spot to take a break and soak in the beauty of the area before heading back.
It is important to bring an adequate water supply and snacks for the hike, as well as check the weather forecast before setting out. The trail can be challenging at times, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear and take your time to enjoy the journey.
