This hiking route takes you through a challenging yet rewarding trail in the beautiful wilderness of Refugio Fuente Molina in Spain. Starting from the parking area at the trailhead, you will make your way towards the first point of interest, the Fuente Molina spring, located approximately 0.96 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to refill your water bottle before continuing on the trail.
As you hike further, you will come across the Refugio Fuente Molina wilderness hut, situated just 1 kilometer from the start. This is a good place to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature before continuing your ascent towards Peña del Acivillo peak, located 2.16 kilometers from the start. The views from the peak are spectacular and well worth the effort.
Continuing along the trail, you will reach Collado Valdeolivo saddle at around 1.67 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a snack while taking in the panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Midway through the hike, you will come across Mojón Alto peak, standing tall at 6.52 kilometers from the start. This is the highest point of the trail and offers stunning views of the wilderness below.
On your way back, don't forget to stop by the Cabezo Valdeburgueño peak, approximately 2.58 kilometers from the start, for more breathtaking views of the landscape.
