This extremely difficult 13.276-kilometer circular hiking route at El Puntarrón offers breathtaking views and challenging terrain for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey, making your way through diverse landscapes and terrains. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest.
About 3.59 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles. As you continue, at around 3.71 kilometers, you'll come across a peak, providing stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.
Further ahead, at 4.26 kilometers, there is a saddle where you can take a break and enjoy the scenery before continuing your trek. At 4.96 kilometers and 5 kilometers, you will encounter two more peaks, each offering unique views of the area.
Around 6.12 kilometers into the hike, another peak awaits, followed by a saddle at 6.63 kilometers where you can rest before starting the journey back.
It's essential to bring an adequate water supply, snacks, and proper hiking gear for this challenging trail. Checking the weather forecast before heading out is also recommended.
