This hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, starting at Calle La Fuente. The total distance of the hike is 13.804 kilometers with an elevation gain of 353.0 meters, making it extremely difficult.
Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. About 6.9 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source, perfect for refilling your bottles. Midway through the hike, at 3.34 kilometers from the start, there is a drinking water spot where you can hydrate.
If you need a break or some sustenance, there are a few options available. Right at the beginning of the trail, you will find a restaurant called Chongastán, which is wheelchair accessible and has a no smoking policy. There is also a food court, Bar de Chía, about 0.19 kilometers from the start. Additionally, La Serreta cafe is also located at the same distance, perfect for grabbing a quick snack.
