This hiking route, known as PR-M 8 Senda Herreros, offers a 5.4-kilometer circular trail through a beautiful area in the Somontano region. The route has a moderate difficulty level with an elevation gain of 250 meters, making it suitable for hikers with some experience.

Starting at the parking area located right at the trailhead, hikers will first come across an information point just 0.12 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to learn more about the flora, fauna, and geology of the area before continuing on the trail.

As you make your way along the path, you'll pass by a memorial site called Virgen de las Nieves, located 0.81 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to appreciate the significance of this historic landmark before continuing your journey.

Further along the trail, at around 2.5 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the peak known as Alto del Telégrafo. This point offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making it a perfect spot to take a break and soak in the beauty of the Somontano region.

Continuing on, at the 2.6-kilometer mark, you'll reach Siete Picos, another peak that provides breathtaking views of the area. This is a great place to capture some memorable photographs of your hike.

After passing through a saddle point at the same distance, you'll come across a drinking water source called Fuente at 0.43 kilometers from the start. Remember to refill your water bottles here to stay hydrated throughout the remainder of the hike.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, you'll also pass by another peak and a parking area. Overall, this circular route offers a diverse and picturesque hiking experience for those looking to explore the natural beauty of the Somontano region.
