This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Camino a Las lagunas de Claveles y los Pájaros. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 6.573 kilometers and an elevation gain of 516 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge both your endurance and your skills.

As you start your journey, you will come across Laguna Chica de Peñalara, a small lagoon located 1.75 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This serene spot offers a perfect opportunity to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Further along the trail, at 3.29 kilometers from the start, you will pass by several water features, including a series of natural springs that provide a refreshing respite from the strenuous hike. These spots are great for refilling your water bottle and taking in the beauty of the area.

At around 2.1 kilometers from the start, you will find an information center where you can learn more about the flora, fauna, and history of the region. This is a great place to gather insights about the area before continuing on your journey.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the viewpoints like Mirador de Javier, located 2.53 kilometers from the start, and another viewpoint at 3.05 kilometers. These vantage points offer stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and are perfect for snapping some memorable photos.

Throughout the hike, be prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate clothing.
