Welcome to the hiking route to La Tourette! This easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of 1.782 kilometers with an elevation gain of 108 meters, making it a perfect option for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by the parking area without any fees, located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way through the picturesque landscape, you'll soon come across Col de Portet, a natural saddle point just 0.03 kilometers from the start.
Further along the trail, at a distance of 0.14 kilometers, you'll find an information point where you can learn more about the area's flora, fauna, and history. Continuing onwards, at around 0.89 kilometers from the start, you'll reach La Tourette, a beautiful peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding terrain.
For those looking to challenge themselves, Soum de Terre Nère, another peak, is located at a distance of 0.83 kilometers from the trail. Make sure to stay hydrated and carry enough water for the hike, especially during warmer months.
