This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area surrounding Col de le Palue. The trail is 6.672 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 356 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, starting and ending at the same point.
As you begin your hike, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. Approximately 3.28 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles and staying hydrated along the way.
Around the 3.01 kilometer mark, you will reach Col de le Palue, a saddle offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, at a distance of 3.04 kilometers, you will find the Gallerie Italiane ruins, providing a glimpse into the area's historic past.
Further along the trail, at 3.34 kilometers, you will encounter the Postazione italiana ruins, adding to the historical interest of the hike. Additionally, at the same distance, you will reach another peak, Col de le Palue, offering panoramic views of the terrain.
