This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Strada di Rusci. The 6.595 kilometers long trail offers a moderate level of difficulty with an elevation gain of 253 meters. It is estimated to take around 2 hours and 9 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area named Sauch, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. About 1.26 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Baita Ciampiè restaurant where you can enjoy a meal or a refreshing drink.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 3.2 kilometers from the start, you will reach Baita alle Cascate, an alpine hut offering accommodation. Nearby, you can also explore Ciamp de Forcia, an information point to learn more about the area.
One of the highlights of the hike is a 17-meter tall waterfall located at a distance of 3.19 kilometers from the start. It's a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the natural beauty around you.
