This moderate 6.595-kilometer circular hike on the Strada di Rusci offers a fantastic outdoor experience in a beautiful natural setting. The route includes an elevation gain of 253 meters and takes approximately 2 hours and 9 minutes to complete.
Starting at the Sauch parking area, hikers will follow the trail through picturesque landscapes. Along the way, you'll find points of interest such as the Baita Ciampiè restaurant, where you can stop for a meal or snack around 1.26 kilometers into the hike.
As you continue on, you'll come across the Baita alle Cascate alpine hut at the 3.2-kilometer mark, providing a great opportunity to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, at this point, you can visit the Ciamp de Forcia information point, situated nearby.
