This challenging 11.5-kilometer circular hiking route around Ombretola offers stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The trail starts at a parking area and passes by Rifugio Fuciade, an alpine hut where hikers can grab a bite to eat. About 1.4 kilometers in, hikers will find a drinking water station for a quick refill.

As you continue on the trail, you'll come across Valle Tasca, an information point about 3.44 kilometers from the start. Midway through the hike, at 5.57 kilometers, you'll reach the peak of Ombretola, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

At 3.9 kilometers into the hike, hikers will encounter Pas de le Cirèle, a picturesque saddle point. Just a bit further at 5.37 kilometers, you'll come across Passo di Ombrettola, another scenic saddle area.

The route also includes historic points of interest such as Capitello, a wayside cross at 3.88 kilometers, and I sentieri dell'amicizia, a memorial at 2.95 kilometers. Be sure to check out the drinking water station located at 2.55 kilometers into the hike for a refreshment stop.
