This hiking route will take you through the stunning scenery of the Rifugio Luigi Gorza area. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 3.621 kilometers and an elevation gain of 404 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.
You will start your journey from a parking area located just 0.01 kilometers from the trailhead. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across Rifugio Marmolada Castiglioni, a charming alpine hut located right on the trail at the beginning of your hike. Near the end of the hike, at 1.74 kilometers from the start, you will find another information point with valuable insights about the area. Finally, at the end of your journey, 1.81 kilometers from the start, you will reach Rifugio Luigi Gorza, where you can relax and enjoy a meal at Viel dal Pan restaurant before heading back.
