This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Colle Bianchino. The trail spans a distance of 8.542 kilometers with an elevation gain of 410 meters, making it a difficult trek that is estimated to take around 3 hours.
As you start your journey, you will come across Fontanile San Vincenzo, a drinking water point located 0.35 kilometers from the trailhead. It is advisable to fill up your water bottle here before continuing on your hike. Further along the route, at a distance of 3.17 kilometers from the start, you will find Fonte Grottina and at 3.44 kilometers, you will reach Fonte di Pratonisco, two more drinking water points where you can refill your supplies.
For those driving to the trailhead, there is parking available at the beginning of the trail. The parking area is conveniently situated right at the starting point, providing easy access to the hiking route.
One of the highlights of this hike is reaching the peak of Colle Bianchino, which is 4.27 kilometers from the start. The mesmerizing views from the summit make the challenging hike well worth the effort.
