This extremely difficult 18.3-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through a challenging yet rewarding journey in the stunning area near Colle Ramacete.
Starting at the parking area just at the trailhead, you will begin your adventure with a steady ascent. Along the way, at around 2.55 kilometers from the start, you will come across a tranquil water source where you can replenish your supplies.
As you continue onwards, you will reach Forca di Gualdo, a picturesque saddle point offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. This spot is located just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 8.58 kilometers from the start, you will have the opportunity to marvel at Monte Prata, a majestic peak that stands tall against the sky.
Further along the trail, at around 9.15 kilometers from the start, you will reach Colle Ramacete, another peak that offers a mesmerizing panorama of the area.
Before making your way back, be sure to explore the historic ruins located at 3.43 kilometers from the start, adding a touch of culture to your outdoor excursion.
