This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Monte Bove Sud area. Starting at Piazzale Saliere, the trail will lead you through a scenic path with a total distance of 8.287 kilometers and an elevation gain of 806 meters.
Along the way, you will come across some points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will find the alpine hut Rif. Cornaccione where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by Fonte di Frontignano, a drinking water source perfect for refilling your water bottles.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter Monte Bicco, a peak that offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area. Towards the end of the trail, you will reach the main attraction, Monte Bove Sud, another peak where you can enjoy the spectacular scenery before heading back.
With a duration of approximately 3 hours and 55 minutes, this difficult hike requires a good level of fitness. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and suitable hiking gear.
