As you embark on this out-and-back route, you will first come across a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 0.6 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a spring where you can refill your water bottle and take a moment to appreciate the natural surroundings.

About 3.45 kilometers into the hike, you will find yourself near the impressive peak of Monte Macchialunga, although it is slightly off the main trail. As you continue onwards, at the 6.25-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Poggio Valcagora, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape.

Further along the trail, at the 7.08-kilometer point, you will reach another peak known as Poggio di Fonte Chiusa, which serves as the final destination of this hike. Nearby, at just 0.04 kilometers from the trail, there is the entrance to the Grotta di Sant'Eutizio cave, providing a unique opportunity for exploration.
