This challenging hiking route will take you through the stunning area near Pico Mesola. The trail covers a distance of 11.652 kilometers with an elevation gain of 759 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 4 hours and 35 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area near the trailhead, allowing you to easily access the start of the route. Around 0.11 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Refugio de Lizara, an alpine hut and shelter where you can rest and take in the views.
Continuing on, at around 4.5 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Punta de Napazal peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along the trail, at 5.83 kilometers, you will encounter the Pico Mesola peak, a prominent natural landmark to admire.
As you approach the midpoint of the hike, at approximately 5.48 kilometers from the start, you will pass by the Petrito peak, followed by the Punta del Cuello Bozo peak at 3.91 kilometers from the beginning.
Throughout the hike, ensure you have an ample water supply and check the weather forecast before setting out.
