Located in the beautiful region of Chemin de Banasse, this hiking route offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for outdoor enthusiasts. With a total distance of approximately 10.98 kilometers and an elevation gain of 640 meters, this trail is classified as 'Difficult' in terms of difficulty.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will come across various points of interest along the way. Approximately 3.25 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the Cabane Pacheu shelter, offering a perfect spot to rest and enjoy the surroundings. Continuing on, at around 5.4 kilometers, the Cabane de Gourgue Sec shelter awaits for another opportunity to take a break.

As you trek further, at 5.49 kilometers, you'll spot the Laquet de Gourgue Sec, a natural water feature adding to the scenic beauty of the trail. Additionally, there are informational points along the way, such as the Cabane de Larrecq (Ruine) ruins at 5.05 kilometers and the Limite Parc and Jalon information spots at 1.85 and 0.01 kilometers respectively.

It is recommended to bring an ample water supply, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey. The trail is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point.
