This hiking route takes you to the stunning area of Punta de Napazal, known for its beautiful peaks and alpine scenery. The trail is 8.999 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 597 meters, making it a difficult hike that is best suited for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.11 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Refugio de Lizara, an alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding views.
As you continue on the trail, approximately midway through your hike at 3.91 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Punta del Cuello Bozo, offering panoramic views of the area. Further along the trail, at 4.5 kilometers from the start, you will reach the impressive peak of Punta de Napazal.
It is essential to bring an adequate water supply and snacks for this hike, as well as wearing appropriate hiking gear and checking the weather forecast beforehand. This out-and-back route will challenge you with its length and elevation gain, but the stunning views and sense of accomplishment at the summit make it all worth it.
