This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey to Punta Seras, covering a distance of 13.862 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1325 meters. The trail starts at a parking area and leads you through a scenic landscape with various points of interest along the way.
Early on in the hike, you will come across the Caserma Vallo Alpino, a historic ruins site located 6.1 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will reach the Grand Belvédère du Mont Viso, a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views just 0.02 kilometers from the start.
Midway through the hike, at around 5.95 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Colle Losetta, a natural saddle that provides a great resting spot. Further along the trail, at 5.33 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Monte Losetta / Pointe Joanne, a prominent peak in the area.
Towards the end of the route, at 6.93 kilometers from the start, you will reach Punta Seras, another peak that marks the turnaround point of the hike. Along the way, you may also come across various information points and viewpoints providing insight into the surrounding natural and historical landmarks.
