This difficult 11.7-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning destination of Punta Mait. The trail boasts an elevation gain of 1156 meters, promising a challenging but rewarding adventure for experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across an informational point just 1.04 kilometers into the hike, providing valuable insights about the area. As you continue on, you will reach a shelter named Capanno at 1.89 kilometers from the start, offering a nice resting spot to take in the surrounding nature.
Further along the trail, at 5.87 kilometers, you will encounter the peak of Punta Mait, where you can witness breathtaking panoramic views of the region. Additionally, there are ruins of Opera Vallo Alpino scattered along the route, adding a historical touch to your hike.
