This hike takes you through a beautiful area with a distance of 8.28 kilometers and an elevation gain of 945 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by points of interest such as the Caserma Vallo Alpino ruins, located 3.67 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 0.35 kilometers, you will find a parking area that is not directly on the trail. Remember to park here if you're driving to the trailhead.

Around the halfway point, at 3.3 kilometers, there is a drinking water fountain named Fontana for you to refill your water bottles. Continuing on, at 3.62 kilometers, you will reach the Colle Reisassetto saddle and the Sacro Cuore wayside shrine.

As you near the end of the hike, at 4.14 kilometers, there is a viewpoint and a peak to admire, providing stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Finally, reaching the Sorgente destination at the end of the trail, you can enjoy the peacefulness of the area before starting your journey back.
