Hiking : Tête de Girardin

This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Tête de Girardin in the beautiful area of Maljasset. The trail starts at the parking area and leads you through alpine landscapes with breathtaking views. Along the way, you will pass by the Chalet de Maljasset, a cozy alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy a meal.

As you continue on the trail, you will reach Col Girardin, a picturesque saddle with stunning viewpoints. Further along, you will come across the Ancien poste optique, an old optical post that offers shelter and information about the area. The trail then leads you to the Tête de Girardin, a majestic peak with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Throughout the hike, you will find drinking water sources and information points to help you navigate the route. It's important to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before starting the hike due to its length of 10.46 kilometers and elevation gain of 943 meters.
