This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to Monte Rotonaria, offering a total distance of 12.972 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1149 meters. The duration of this challenging hike is estimated to be around 5 hours and 52 minutes.

Starting at the Adventure Camp Resort Monti Ernici, you will make your way through the rugged terrain towards the peak of Monte Rotonaria. As you ascend, you will pass by the ruins of Santissima Trinità, located just 1.67 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along the route, at 6.49 kilometers from the start, you will come across a viewpoint known as Aia della Rotonaria, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter a drinking water point, providing a much-needed refreshment for hikers. It is located 1.65 kilometers from the start of the trail. Additionally, along the way, you will find a wayside cross named Croce, adding a touch of historical charm to the journey.

For those seeking a break, there is a campsite available at 1.95 kilometers from the start, providing a convenient spot to rest and recharge before continuing the challenging climb to the peak of Monte Rotonaria.
