This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Femmina Morta area. With a total distance of 15.079 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1169 meters, this challenging trek will test your endurance and offer breathtaking views along the way.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by a convenient parking area before making your way towards Bocchetta del Viglio, a saddle located 5.1 kilometers from the start. This midpoint offers a great resting spot to take in the surrounding natural beauty.

Continuing on, you'll reach Monte Pratiglio, a peak situated 6.23 kilometers into the hike, followed by the majestic Monte Femmina Morta peak at 7.54 kilometers. These peaks provide panoramic views of the area and make for fantastic photo opportunities.

Along the trail, you'll also come across Colle Albaneti, a picnic site 1.82 kilometers from the start, and Fontanile, a drinking water source at 0.21 kilometers. These spots are perfect for refueling and staying hydrated during your journey.

As you trek back, don't forget to stop by the Cima di Monna Moschino peak at 5.49 kilometers and Fontanile Casale spring at 0.96 kilometers for a refreshing break.
