This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Fallbodensee area, known for its beautiful landscape and challenging terrain. The trail covers a distance of 18.531 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1363 meters, making it a demanding yet rewarding adventure.

As you embark on this journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find the Coach Bus Parking area, where you can start your hike. About 9.27 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Fallbodensee, a picturesque lake that offers a serene setting for a break.

Further along the trail, at approximately 9.27 kilometers from the start, you'll come across Erlebnishaus Eiger-Nordwand, an interactive visitor center that provides fascinating insights into the Eiger North Wall. Additionally, the trail will lead you to Trümmelbachfälle, a spectacular waterfall with a fee for entry, located 0.36 kilometers from the start.

For sustenance and relaxation, there are various dining options along the trail, including Restaurant Eigernordwand, Chalet Bar, Tipi Bar Kleine Scheidegg, Bergrestaurant Kleine Scheidegg, and Wengernalp. These establishments offer a chance to refuel and enjoy the local cuisine amidst the scenic views.

Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter benches, viewpoints, information centers, and drinking water stations for your convenience. These amenities provide opportunities to rest, take in the surroundings, and stay hydrated during your challenging trek.

Before embarking on this hike, ensure you are well-prepared by bringing an adequate water supply, snacks, proper hiking gear, and checking the weather forecast. Due to the length and elevation gain of the trail, it is recommended for experienced hikers looking for a strenuous adventure in the Fallbodensee area.
