Welcome to the Eigertrail, a challenging hiking route that offers breathtaking views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The Eigertrail is known for its 9.189 kilometers of distance and 890 meters of elevation gain, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure for hikers.

Starting your journey, you will find a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail, allowing easy access to the starting point. As you make your way along the path, about 1.69 kilometers in, you will come across Restaurant Brandegg, a great spot to grab a bite to eat and replenish your energy.

Further along the trail, at approximately 4.59 kilometers, you will encounter a stunning waterfall and a viewpoint where you can take in the awe-inspiring scenery of the surrounding area. These make for perfect photo opportunities and a chance to rest and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Throughout the hike, you will also find several information points providing interesting facts about the trail and its surroundings. Additionally, there are multiple drinking water stations along the route to keep you hydrated during your journey.

As the Eigertrail is an out-and-back route, you will eventually make your way back to the starting point, passing by the same points of interest in reverse order. Along the way, be sure to take breaks on the benches provided to rest and appreciate the tranquility of the surroundings.
