This difficult 10.078-kilometer hike at Holdrifall offers a challenging adventure for experienced hikers. The route is circular, starting at the Holdrifall destination.

As you begin your trek, you'll come across various points of interest. At the start, only 0.0 kilometers from the trail, you'll find a parking area with a fee for your convenience. Moving along, at 0.69 kilometers from the start, there is a sheltered bench where you can take a rest.

Further into the hike, at 2.44 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Berggasthof Trachsellauenen restaurant, offering limited wheelchair access and operating between May 1 and October 15. The route also passes by the Rütti campsite at 3.38 kilometers from the start, which has a fee and can be reached by phone at +41 (0)33 855 28 85.

Throughout the hike, make sure to stay hydrated by utilizing the drinking water points located at various distances along the trail. Remember to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey and pack plenty of water and snacks.
