This extremely difficult 15.378-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to Rotstockhütte in the beautiful area of Stechelberg. The trail offers an elevation gain of 1459.0 meters and a duration of approximately 7 hours and 12 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Further along, you will reach a campsite named Rütti, where you can rest and enjoy the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Rotstockhütte, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel. Nearby, there is also a biergarten where you can grab some sustenance.
On your way back, you can explore the scenic Sefinenfall and Weschbächli waterfalls, adding an extra touch of natural beauty to your hike. Make sure to bring enough water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this challenging trail.
