Welcome to the Lauberhorn hiking route, a challenging yet breathtaking circular trail that spans over 20 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1659 meters.

Starting at the picturesque town of Lauterbrunnen, make sure to visit the Startbar to fuel up before your adventure. As you begin your hike, you'll come across a refreshing drinking water fountain just 0.02 kilometers from the start, so stay hydrated as you tackle the trail.

Midway through your journey, at around 7.85 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a tranquil shelter where you can take a break and immerse yourself in the natural surroundings.

As you continue your ascent, make sure to visit the Lauberhorn peak, located approximately 9.48 kilometers from the start. The stunning views from this vantage point will make the challenging hike worth it.

For a well-deserved rest and some sustenance, make a stop at Bergrestaurant Allmend about 4.13 kilometers from the start. Recharge with some delicious local cuisine before heading back on the trail.

Throughout the hike, you'll also come across several viewpoints, benches, and historical landmarks that offer a glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of the area.

Before embarking on this extremely difficult hike, make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and dress in layers as weather conditions can change quickly in the mountains. It's also recommended to check the forecast before setting out on the trail.
